The Champagne pools: Natural swimming pools on Fraser Island

About a month ago we saw some rather scary "natural" swimming pools near Newcastle (see earlier post).

Those we both stayed out of, because swimming in them would have been just a little too irresponsible for our taste.

These ones on Fraser Island were much more calm, and allthough the warnings look a bit scary, Ingrid managed to find a peaceful spot in them to enjoy beautiful views of the ocean.
