Heritage highway on Tasmania

We got familiar with this very charming route, as we drove it both ways. We stopped in Oatland (oatmeal as Maarten called it) for pannekoeken (crepes) with the mill in the view on the way south. On the way north a very friendly couple tore out a page of their lonely planet with accomodation  in Campbell Town as we looked around for places to stay after our escape from the smoke. That led us to the 150 year old accomodation The Foxhunters Return, built by convicts with good place for the horses, now upgraded to a very good place to be. If we had been a little closer to home we might have ended up buying a church (!) they had for sale and made it into a brewery -hehe:-)
