Cosy warm inside christmas dinners result, underneath a christmas tree colorfully decorated, ideally next to a woodstove for even more wintery ambiance.
And if economy allows, one can buy some snow in a spraycan to add onto various decorational ornaments.
So then I wondered, do people in Australia decorate for christmas in that same way as we do, even though its a hot summer around this time of year? Turns out yes, no problem at all to put christmas trees in the streets and shops, even white ones for that snowy feeling.
Maybe its just meet but tome itlooks really odd. What do you think?
All is well with both of us, dealing with the jetlag in Newcastle at a good friends place. Playing with a two year old, talking about my time in Zurich, eating good food, drinking homebrew and later today spending the saturday brewing beer in the shed underneeth the terrace. Pictures will follow :-)
Greetings from Newcastle, New South Wales.
